As the 2023 Muscatine County Fair approaches, our FFA members are working hard to prepare their exhibits. In the Muscatine FFA chapter, we have over 40 exhibitors showing varieties of livestock such as sheep, goats, beef, swine, poultry, horses, and rabbits.
The Muscatine County Fair will be held from July 19-23, and the public is welcome! Visit the Muscatine County Fair’s official website (https://muscatinecountyfair.com/) for show times and other exciting events.

Most of the students have been working on their projects all year. The beef exhibitors started in the fall of 2022, and other exhibitors have been working on their projects for over five months. The Muscatine County Fair is a fun way to show the community what they have learned and been working on all year round.
Another way to support our local FFA members is to attend the Ribbon Auction on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Community members and businesses support FFA and 4-H members by purchasing their ribbons. This helps our students pay for the expenses of their livestock, like feed and equipment. In addition, over 20 of our FFA members will also be exhibiting at the upcoming Iowa State Fair in August.
