The horticulture club went on a trip to Orlando, Florida to go to the GCSAA conference in February. This event was a lot of fun and very educational to go to. With the huge trade show and free educational classes, we were able to learn a lot about the industry. Other than the conference, we were able to go to local nurseries to see how they differ and are similar to the ones in Iowa. Another stand out place we went to was an orange grove where we talked about how it differs from fruit orchards in our area. Overall, there was a lot to learn during the short time we were there.
