By Liz Ripley–Iowa State University Extension and Outreach

Discover the water quality benefits of wetlands and oxbows and an upcoming interactive virtual field day hosted by Iowa Learning Farms and their partners.

AMES, Iowa – Iowa Learning Farms, in partnership with the Iowa Nutrient Research Center and Conservation Learning Group (CLG), will be presenting a virtual field day on the benefits of increased wetlands and oxbows in the Midwest on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 1 p.m.
