Why are you running for election?

I believe there are many opportunities in front of Muscatine. I want to serve our city by helping our citizens pick the right ones and capitalize each one we choose.

What is the most important issue facing your office? Why does it matter? How will you address it?

Housing is the most important right now. The best day to plant a house is 20 years ago. Most of the complaints I have heard about in Muscatine will solve themselves if we increase and repair the housing stock. I believe in carrots over sticks when it comes to bringing up the dilapidated housing.

What is the second most important issue facing your office? Why does it matter? How will you address it?

Streets. Find ways to repair streets better faster. Find ways to clear snow more efficiently. Find ways to have less cars need to park on the streets.

If elected, what steps would you take to improve perceptions of Muscatine in the surrounding area?

I would follow the Golden Rule. “Treat others the way you want to be treated.

What is the most important thing you would like voters to know about you that they may not?

I believe in Muscatine. I bleed Purple and Gold!
