Why are you running for election?

I felt we needed a voice from the rural areas of the county. We live on our family farm in rural Nichols, so in the middle of District 2. For my job i travel most all of Muscatine county and i see what is going on around the county.

What are the three most important issues facing your office over the next term?

  1. keeping our county infastructure sound and affordable to our voters.
  2. continued support of our Muscatine county fair.
  3. Listening to what the voters want and need in our county.

What are the three most important issues facing Muscatine County over the next term?

  1. more and affordable housing in all areas in all of the county.
  2. keeping taxes in check without losing any services
  3. Better broadband communication services for the rural areas

What is the most important thing you would like voters to know about you that they may not?

Well my roots come from Muscatine county. My mother and her family were from the Island, my dad and family are from north of Nichols. i have been to school in Nichols ,West Liberty and MCC. My wife and i have lived in West Liberty, Blue grass, Durant and now back on the family farm north of Nichols.
