Lee Agency welcomes Heidi Hamilton as a Farm Account Manager to its team of farm insurance professionals.

Hamilton has had a passion for agriculture since childhood. At eight years old, she began showing and training horses, and today, she frequently offers agronomic insight to her family and others. She retained that passion throughout her life and headed to Iowa State University (ISU) where she earned a bachelor’s degree in agronomy.

Her solid agricultural background, coupled with her desire to positively impact the lives of her clients, will make her an instrumental part of the Lee Agency farm insurance team. In this role, she will focus on providing our farm clients with prompt, efficient customer service for their farm property and liability insurance needs. She will serve as a first point of contact for our clients’ day-to-day needs, as well as their liaison in hard times. “I have really enjoyed my onboarding experience into my position at Lee Agency,” said Hamilton, “and I look forward to making a positive impact in my customer’s lives and farming operations.”

A life-long Durant resident and daughter of Jim and the late Joyce Hamilton, Hamilton graduated from Durant High School in 2014. In college, she participated in Sigma Alpha – Delta Chapter (a sorority for women in agriculture), the Iowa State University Corn Growers Association, Women in Agronomy, and the ISU Agricultural Weekend Experience. Her involvement in these ag-centered associations will further enable her to connect and engage with her clients on a personal level.
