MUSCATINE, Iowa–July 15, Henry, Teddy, and Lucy Loconsole, with help from their parents Casey and Tony Loconsole, hosted their third Lemonade for a Cause fundraiser. They raised money for the Muscatine Center for Social Action Domestic Violence Shelter by selling lemonade, baked goods, and crafts. Thanks to the generous donations of individuals and local businesses, including Bosch Pest Control, Meineke Car Care, Hy-Vee, Carli Fix with Remax Professionals, and the Muscatine Police Department, this year’s fundraiser set a new record of bringing in $3,360, $1,310 more than last year. Over its first three years, Lemonade for a Cause has contributed $7,210 to the shelter. Photo courtesy of Tony Loconsole.
