Jan. 27-29, Louisa-Muscatine Junior-Senior High School student Lydia Lamp competed in the Iowa Auctioneers Association’s rookie auctioneer competition, where she earned a state championship. Lydia received both a belt buckle and trophy to celebrate her accomplishment. She looks forward to attending other Iowa Auctioneer Association seminars this year, getting to announce at next year’s rookie competition, and competing in the full competition for auctioneers age 18 and up next year.
