MUSCATINE, Iowa–As an experienced small business owner, Andy Christy understand both the joys and the hardships that come with starting a new business. “We have a passion for small business and love to see them thrive and grow, but so often business owners and managers end up feeling frustrated, overworked, burned out, and all too often giving up,” he shared.

Christy believed with a little extra support and knowhow, many business owners could relieve the burdens that may make running a small business fell overwhelming. Wanting to provide the expertise that local businesses could use, Christy, along with John Barnard, opened Central Endeavors.

Central Endeavors offers a range of services for small business owners, including marketing packages, indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, live call management options, and technology solutions. If a business owner needs something that Central Endeavors does not currently provide, they welcome suggestions, as they hope to add additional capacities to better serve local businesses. “If you do not see what you need on our buffet of services, reach out to us!” Christy emphasized. “It may already be on our radar, and you may be the one key component that encourages us to launch that service!”

In everything that they do, Central Endeavors hopes to make small business ownership more manageable and fulfilling. “The system we use is unique in the industry and born from the belief that we can fulfill our workplace responsibilities without burning out or neglecting our non-work life,” Christy explained.

Central Endeavors also looks to assist the businesses it works with grow by filling in any gaps they have, helping them complete all the tasks they need to with the staff they already have, and aiding them in grow sustainably when the time comes. In fact, Christy most enjoys, “being about to companion business owners, managers, and entrepreneurs in their business development, and, when applicable, being able to offer solutions to relieve an acute pain point in their operation.”

Additionally, Central Endeavors can put businesses in touch with organizations or freelancers who can fill in some of the staffing needs they may develop, removing much of the uncertainty that comes with adding new employees.

Christy invites anyone who thinks Central Endeavors could help their business flourish to contact them, either by email or by calling 563-204-0101. If people would like to make an in person appointment, they may call and arrange a time between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to come out to Central Endeavors office at Pearl Plaza, 208 West Second Street, Suite 213 in Muscatine.

As Central Endeavors begins assisting small business owners in Muscatine, they have found that working with the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry has helped them amplify their message, which will in turn allow them to serve more small businesses. “Central Endeavors and the Chambers’ objectives align,” Christy observed. “We both want to empower small businesses, and cooperating with them them helps us do what we do best.”
