MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Muscatine Municipal Golf Course is the destination for Friday night fun as warmer weather extends the prime hours to play golf, and local golfers are looking forward to showcasing their skills in the next Par 3 Contest scheduled for June 26.

Registration will be taken beginning at 3:00 p.m. on the day of the event. The competition begins at 5:30 p.m.

The fee for the Par 3 event is $5 for season pass holders and $23 for non-season pass holders. While the entry fee includes the green fee and prizes, carts may be rented at an additional cost. Prizes will be paid out after the round is played and will be based on the number of participants in the event.

Golfers do not have to wait for a Par 3 event to use the family-friendly course. Silver tees mark the Par-3 course on all 18 holes that can be played during normal business operations.

For more information, please contact the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course at 563-263-4735, or visit www.muscatineiowa.gov/golf.
