Here’s an interview with Muscatine High School Senior Jovany (JJ) Candela, who recently became the first MHS iJAG CDC winner in Muscatine History! JJ competed against all of the other iJAG 11/12 programs across Iowa. JJ placed first in the Employability Skills event. In this event, the student needed to create a professional resume and cover letter and then go through an interview process with Judges from different corporations around the state. In April, he will head to Orlando, Florida, to compete against other Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) programs nationwide. Watch this to learn more and good luck, JJ!
