MUSCATINE, Iowa–Muscatine Police Officers worked to solve a drive-by shooting overnight. On Jan. 18 at approximately 1:02 a.m., the Muscatine Police Department responded to a report of gun shots fired in the 1300 block of Oak Street. There were no reported injuries but the shooter struck the residence multiple times with gun fire. Police stopped the suspect vehicle as it left the scene.
Police arrested three individuals and charged them with intimidation with a dangerous weapon (C felony) due to their involvement in the incident: Christian James, born Nov. 26, 2004 of 102 Spencer Avenue, Fruitland; a 17-year-old female from Muscatine; and a 16-year-old 09male from Davenport.
Police consider the incident targeted without ongoing threat to the public. The Investigation into the incident continues.
