MUSCATINE, Iowa–The Muscatine Soil and Water Conservation District is offering bare root trees for sale. They will accept orders at their office at 3500 Oakview Drive, Suite A in Muscatine and must receive them, with payment, by March 15. Money raised goes toward scholarships, educational programs, and other community projects. The District is also selling Plantskydd, a rain resistant animal repellent to help protect your trees and vegetation from deer and rabbits. It is available as a liquid or powder in prices ranging from $23 to $75. To obtain an order form for any of these items, stop by the Soil and Water Conservation District office, the ISU Extension Service, or call Pam Coder at 563-263-7944 extension 3 or email [email protected].
