Over $900,000 in Scholarships Available for High School Seniors

Muscatine – Tuesday, January 19, 2021 – Muscatine County and Louisa County High School seniors may now apply for over $900,000 in scholarships. Applications are being accepted from January 11, 2021 through noon March 12, 2021.

Students attending the following schools may apply through the Community Foundation online scholarship application portal:

  • Columbus Community High School
  • Louisa-Muscatine High School
  • Muscatine High School
  • Wapello High School
  • West Liberty High School
  • Wilton Jr/Sr High School

Over 200 scholarships are awarded in varying amounts, from $500 one-time awards up to
$20,000 four-year awards. Scholarships are also available for a variety of post-secondary options including bachelors or associate degrees, certificate programs, and trade training.

All high school seniors interested in pursuing any type of additional education after high school are encouraged to apply. Awards will be announced in May.

The Muscatine Community College online scholarship application is also open through March 1, 2021. High school graduates planning to attend MCC are encouraged to complete the Muscatine Community College Scholarship Application in addition to their high school scholarship application.
