MUSCATINE, Iowa–Muscatine and Louisa County high school seniors may now apply for over one million dollars in local scholarships through the Community Foundation’s scholarship application portal.
High school scholarship applications are being accepted from Jan. 10, through March 11. Graduating high school seniors from the following schools may apply:
- Columbus Community High School
- Louisa-Muscatine High School
- Muscatine High School
- Wapello High School
- West Liberty High School
- Wilton Jr/Sr High School
Over 250 scholarships are awarded in varying amounts, from $500 one-time awards up to $20,000 four-year awards. Scholarships are also available for a variety of post-secondary options including bachelors or associate degrees, certificate programs, and trade training.
All high school seniors interested in pursuing any type of additional education after high school are encouraged to apply. Awards will be announced in May.
The Muscatine Community College online scholarship application is also open through March 1 on the Community Foundation’s scholarship application portal. Any high school graduates planning to attend MCC are encouraged to complete the Muscatine Community College scholarship application in addition to their high school scholarship application.
