MUSCATINE, Iowa–Mohammed Ali once wrote, “Impossible is nothing,” and it’s very true! These murals are located at the MCBC at 417 Grandview Avenue, Muscatine, and are very special to me.

I have to thank Santos Saucedo for the privilege of painting these pieces, even more so for seeing my value, even when I didn’t. I love how he and Sabino Rangel work with boys, training them to become professional boxers and incredible gentlemen.

I painted inspirational quotations inside on the walls meant to inspire and encourage people. In the process, I learned more of my value!

The best part is the Muscatine County Boxing Club, a 501c3 nonprofit though the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine, is free to everyone who wants to join! It depends solely on donations to keep its doors open. I highly recommend donating to this nonprofit. It helps a lot of young men who need it.
