Take a step back in Muscatine history when you see the latest mural that artist Chris Anderson is painting on the wall behind Pearl City Iowa Realty at 222 West Second Street. The mural, commissioned by Anna Mack-Smith, broker/owner of Pearl City Iowa Realty, features a depiction of the Old High Bridge spanning over the Mississippi.

On the banks of the river, you will find images of some of Muscatine’s iconic homes and buildings including: the Huttig House, the former Bellevue Hospital, the Goedkin Mansion, the Stein Mansion, the Hotel Muscatine, the Muscatine County Courthouse, and the buildings in front of the mural: Pearl City Iowa Realty (the Joseph Bridgeman Home), Moody Heating, and Mull Grocery (Bark Chiropractic).
Chris’ latest mural is beautiful and can be viewed behind the Iowa Realty building at 222 W 2nd Street.
