    MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Muscatine Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run vehicle and driver that struck a 91-year-old female on Friday, October 16, 2020. 

     

    The car/pedestrian accident occurred at approximately 10:06 a.m. in the 200 block of East 7th Street. Evidence would suggest the vehicle was backing out of a drive way beside 202 East 7th and struck the victim as she was walking along the sidewalk. The vehicle then drove off without rendering any aid to the victim. 

     

    The victim is currently being treated for serious injuries sustained from the accident.

     

    This case remains under investigation and the public’s help would be greatly appreciated. Anyone who may have information pertaining to the accident is asked to Detective Joe Roseman, (563) 263-9922 ext. 614.
