Discover Muscatine accepts for publication press releases from individuals, nonprofit organizations, clubs, schools, government agencies, churches, and business associations such as chambers of commerce. Releases from businesses about personnel appointments, expansion plans or other non-promotional activities are welcome, but items deemed too commercial may not be published or be required to be a paid press release.  If you have any questions regarding your submission, please contact us at [email protected]

  • The Discover Muscatine print edition reaches all 22,000 mailboxes in Muscatine county.
  • All press releases received are reviewed before being published, both in print and online. All non-paid press releases run as space permits. We will make every attempt to publish your (free) press release in a timely manner if it is deemed informative to our readers. However, if you would like us to guarantee your press release will be published, you must purchase space in the newspaper. All paid press releases will be tagged as a "paid advertorial". If your press release was received after the print deadline, your press release will appear in the next available print edition. If the press release is time-sensitive and has been received after the deadline, we reserve the right to only publish your press release online only.
