Progress Muscatine will host LGBTQ+ Equality: A Muscatine Conversation, at Musser Public Library in Room 301 on Thursday, July 27th, at 6:00 pm.

This even is open to the entire community.  The guided conversation will cover topic such as understanding the language surrounding LGBTQ+ issues, what it is like to be part of the LGBTQ+ community, current laws in the state of Iowa and action steps that may be taken.  The conversation will be led by Progress Muscatine board member Christine Moad (They/Them).

This even will offer a social and structured way for all in the community to participate and be part of the conversation to promote understanding and build relationships.

Following the conversation, attendees are invited to attend Almost Friday Fest together.
