MUSCATINE, Iowa–– The Board of Directors of First National Bank of Muscatine at their meeting on Thursday, Feb 20, promoted the following employees:

First National Bank President, Scott Ingstad, stated, “the Board of Directors was very pleased to promote all of these qualified and talented individuals from within our organization to positions of greater responsibility.”

  • Teresa Carter, Promoted to Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer & Assistant Corporate Secretary: Carter, a CPA, joined the Bank in 1988 as a part-time teller, became Assistant Auditor in 1992, and Manager, Audit Department in 1996. In 2007, she became Vice President/Controller and in 2018 became Sr. Vice President/Controller.

  • Julie Frye, Promoted to Senior Vice President/Compliance Officer: She joined the bank in 1990 as a Secretary in Credit Administration. She became Compliance Officer for the bank in 1997 and in 2001, became the Assistant Vice President and Compliance Officer, then became Vice President/Compliance Officer in 2007.

  • Dee Gerdts, Promoted to Senior Vice President/Information Technology: Gerdts joined the bank in 1991 as a part-time Bookkeeping File Clerk and held various positions until 2000 when she received promotion to the position of Loan Administration Officer. Later that year, she became the Assistant Auditor for Iowa First Bancshares Corp. In 2002, Gerdts became Technology Specialist Officer and received promotion to Vice President/Information Technology in 2015.

  • Rebecca Harris, Promoted to Controller/Security Officer: Harris joined the Bank in 2016 as the Finance Assistant. In 2018, Harris was promoted to Assistant Controller.

  • Adam Miller, Promoted to Commercial Loan Officer: Miller completed an internship with the bank in the summers of 2016 and 2017. In 2019, Miller joined the bank as a Commercial Lender.

  • Andrea Salmonson, Promoted to an Officer Position as Assistant Loan Operations Manager: Salmonson joined the bank in 2008 as a Loan Operations Specialist and received promotion to Assistant Loan Operations Manager in 2019.

  • Melissa Bieri, Promoted to an Officer Position as the Assistant Manager, Westside Office: Bieri joined the bank in 1999 as a Financial Service Representative and held several positions until 2013. Bieri rejoined the bank in 2019 as a Financial Service Representative at the Westside Office. In November 2019, Bieri received promotion to Assistant Manager, Westside Office.
