Muscatine has a lot of salons, but Riots & Rebelles is certainly one of the most fun! Opened by Terra Allen on Sept. 1 2017, it has been giving people beautiful hairstyles and makeovers in a fun environment for over three years.

Riots & Rebelles offers way more services than your average salon. Along with cuts and colors, their three stylists also do perms, hair relaxing treatments, and facial waxing. In their upstairs spa, Terra offers permanent makeup (brow, eyeliner, freckle and beauty marks, and lip color procedures) as well as body waxing. Their on staff massage therapist gives relaxing massages to help clients look and feel their best.

Did I mention that Riots & Rebelles just started offering their own line of haircare products too? Their popular amethyst oil helps color treated hair look its best for longer and protects it from heat damage during styling. A major plus, it helps your hair dry faster and stay softer too! Their three-in-one hair spray is great for anyone who wants to do it all, as it’s adjustable tip lets you choose how firm of a hold you want it to have.

The best thing about Riots & Rebelles is how much Terra and the other stylists love their clients. Terra told me, “we really are a big family and genuinely care about people. . .   I honestly think I have the best career in the world, I get to talk to people all day, listen to great music, and make people pretty all at the same time.”

If you’re looking for a new place for all your haircare and beauty needs, you should totally check out Riots & Rebelles! You’ll look great and feel amazing too. To schedule an appointment, give them a call at 563-263-0119 or shoot them a message on their Facebook page.
