LETTS, Iowa–This holiday season, the Letts Public Library Trustees look forward to taking on the role of Santa’s wrappin’ elves. Through this event, they hope to assist their community.

Until Dec. 22, Santa’s wrappin’ elves look forward to helping you make your gifts look phenomenal. By leaving a message on the library’s voicemail (319-726-5121) you can schedule a time for the elves to assist you. “We’ll make it work for everyone,” Letts Library Director Barbara Thompson said.

Next, you will meet the wrappin’ elves at the Letts Community Center and fill out a gift tag for each present. They will then wrap them while you wait. All wrappin’ elves will wear masks and wash their hands frequently for the safety of all involved.

Thompson has great expectations for the new service, as she and the library trustees wanted, “something we could do to share some cheer at the holidays during the pandemic.”
