Today Gov. Kim Reynolds announced the appointment of Shane Wiley as a district judge in Judicial Election Distrct 8B.

Wiley, son of Farrel and Connie Wiley of Muscatine, graduated from MHS, received an undergraduate degree at the Univeristy of Iowa and his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law.  He is a partner at the law firm of Hirsch, Adams, Putnam, Cahill & Wiley, PLC.

Wiley fills a vacancy created by the retirement of District Judge Michael Schilling. Judicial Election District 8B includes Des Moines, Henry, North Lee, and South Lee counties.
