What do you enjoy most about school?

“What I enjoy most about Louisa-Muscatine is the great atmosphere that the teachers bring, along with the lunch ladies. I enjoy being able to spend time with my friends in the senior room and during my open campus. I also enjoy all my years of track, getting to spend time with my peers at meets and cheerleading.”

    Name: Carter Barrick

    Grade: Senior

    School: Louisa-Muscatine Junior-Senior High School

Throughout her time at Louisa-Muscatine Junior-Senior High School, Carter Barrick found success in everything she did. An excellent student, Carter made the honor roll each year and made the Muscatine Community College dean’s list for her dual enrollment classes. Carter enjoyed sports as well and ran track all four years of high school and cheered with the basketball, football, and wrestling cheer squads at different points. An active volunteer in many roles, Carter also valued getting to represent her classmates on student council. Carter gained valuable work and leadership skills by working at both Subway and Dairy Queen.
