What do you enjoy most about school?
“From a young age, I have enjoyed school and the opportunities it has given me to express myself to others. I think the most important thing about school is even though it can be a struggle and not always the most enjoyable, if we have access to good education, we as students should be grateful for it because everyone’s access to education is different.”

A committed soccer player, Lelania Weikert has played both for Muscatine High School and a club team for four years. An active community member at school and elsewhere, Lelania has served as the editor of the MHS Auroran Today Newspaper for two years, a has held a seat on student council for four years, and has volunteered for more than 140 silver cord hours. A strong student, Lelania also belongs to the National Honor Society.
