MUSCATINE, Iowa–The Muscatine Soil and Water Conservation District, along with Conservation Districts of Iowa and the National Association of Conservation Districts, will offer its annual conservation poster contest again this year. Any child residing in Muscatine County currently enrolled in a public, private, or home school in kindergarten through 12th grade can participate.

This year’s poster contest has a theme of “Healthy Soil Healthy Life.” Applicants must submit their original, two-dimensional poster designs, accompanied by the correct poster contest entry forms, to the Muscatine County Soil and Water Conservation District office by Friday, April 29.
Once the Muscatine Soil and Water Conservation District receives this year’s entries, it will name a winner in each age category. County winners will have the opportunity to have their poster possibly advance to the regional, state, and national levels of competition.
The Muscatine Soil and Water Conservation District encourages any interested young artists to start working on their posters now. For a full list of rules, forms, additional information, and poster creation resources, please visit https://cdiowa.org/get-involved/poster-contest/.
