MUSCATINE, Iowa–Nov. 11, Troy “Stinky” Philpott brought his annual Frightening for Food to the Salvation Army of Muscatine County a little earlier than in past years to help support them at Thanksgiving. “We believed it was simpler and the effects of what we’d done would be felt sooner,” Philpott observed.
This year, Stinky’s House of Horrors collected 6,421 pounds of food, 600 pounds more than in 2021. “No matter what ammound, we feel good about it–my guys worked their butts off, and the community support was really good again.”
