This year the sweet corn was planted in four batches. The Muscatine FFA and Ag program started to plant in July so that they could use it during the fall after school started.
This year they were able to serve the corn one time to the schools in the district for school lunch. They also sold around the district and also to students and FFA supporters. In addition, the students and class spend time learning about crops and enjoying the sweet corn.
