MUSCATINE, Iowa — Golfers and softball fans alike are invited to swing into action on Saturday, August 23, 2025, for the 6th Annual Muskie Softball Boosters Golf Fundraiser at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course. With tee times at 7:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m., this event promises a full day of fun and support for one of Iowa’s most dominant high school softball programs.
Participants can register individually for $70 or sign up a foursome for $280. All players will receive a tee gift, 18 holes of golf with a cart, a drink ticket, lunch, and access to a silent auction featuring exciting prizes.
Supporting a Legacy of Excellence
Led by Head Coach Steve Hopkins, the Muscatine High School softball program has become a powerhouse in Iowa. Over the past two decades, the Muskies have secured 575 victories, winning an astounding 80% of their games. The team is currently ranked 9th in the state and has made three consecutive state tournament appearances, including two third-place finishes.
“This fundraiser goes a long way in supporting travel, training, equipment, and everything our girls need to compete at the highest level,” said Kelly Gray, booster club representative and parent. “It’s also a fun way for the community to rally behind a program that consistently makes us proud.”
