MUSCATINE, Iowa–Heading into the Memorial Day weekend, Trinity Muscatine team members received a very special thank you from the Trinity Muscatine Foundation.

John Beckey, Chairman of the Trinity Muscatine Foundation Board of Directors, reported the Board felt very strongly about thanking the Muscatine-based health care team for their service, dedication, and commitment to its community over these past months. Beckey emphasized, “The Foundation Board felt passionately about acknowledging that commitment and perseverance through these unpredictable and extremely difficult times we have faced due to the COVID-19 crisis.”

“As a Board, it was also very important for us to find a way to express our appreciation to every one of our team members,” said Beckey. After careful consideration, the Trinity Muscatine Foundation Board chose Chamber Dollars, which best demonstrated their desire to provide a gift of universal value to all team members. Foundation Board members are also hopeful that the influx of over $39,000 in Chamber Dollars will add a boost to the local economy as many area businesses have been impacted by the COVID crisis as well.

The Trinity Muscatine Foundation Board of Directors also extends their gratitude to the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry staff for helping make this happen. Thresa Fix, Trinity Muscatine Foundation Coordinator, added, “This was no small feat for them and they were gracious and accommodating through the entire process. They were a pleasure to work with.”
