West Liberty, Iowa–West Liberty LULAC Council 310, in partnership with Muscatine LULAC Council 375, provided $4,000 through the Ford Driving Dreams mini grant program to the University of Iowa Mobile Clinic to fund flu shots and additional services for our community.  The grant helps fund services that include; free online or phone medical appointments for general health education, medication refills, help with chronic and acute minor medical illnesses, social work assessments, mental healthcare, and more.  In order to sign up, patients just have to call or text 319-535-2684. The most recent expanded service is mental healthcare which includes prescribing appropriate psychiatric medications and supportive therapy service via video conference.

2020 has proven a difficult year for many reasons.  Many people have lost their jobs and insurance and have faced many different stressors. The clinic offers the above services free of charge and have multilingual staff available. Patients do not need  insurance.
